Nikiti

Nikiti is a coastal town in Sithonia, Halkidiki, 105 km away from Thessaloniki and 36 km away from Polygyros. Nikiti is consisted of two parts. The new part of the town is located on the seashore, on this side of the main road where the fishing yacht and the newly built marina are located. The old part of Nikiti is a charming traditional settlement just across the road from the new part, on the hilly area a few hundred meters from the sea, with a church at the highest point of the village. This small town has many natural beauties and a long coastlines. During the summer, it is flushed out by Greek and foreign tourists who either reside in the city or visit to swim in the beautiful beach and have fun in the shops.
Nikiti is an ideal base for excursions and short trips throughout Halkidiki. Day trips to Kassandra, Mount Athos and the mountainous Halkidiki can make your vacation truly unforgettable. Holomontas, full of pine trees, firs, chestnuts and oaks, is a great destination that impresses with its biodiversity and gives you the opportunity to live a completely different experience.
The old village of Nikiti, Old Nikiti, is a beautifully preserved traditional village with paved streets, picturesque bars and taverns and it has been characterized as a preserved traditional settlement. A few kilometers further down is the Parthenon, perched at 350 meters altitude, built on the slopes of Mount Itamos which is also a preserved settlement. Finally, Nikiti is only 30 minutes away from the archaeological sites of Toroni and ancient Olynthos.
